Tomas is a music and media entrepreneur. Co-founder and CEO at Stereotheque, an educational platform that helps emerging music professionals discover connections between artists, top industry professionals and their music through machine learning and contextual data. Before that, Uribe worked as a music teacher, product creator, digital strategist and touring musician with Soundacity (with whom he won the National Digital Strategy competition in 2012 in Colombia), United Nations and Hugleberry Corp.
With Stereotheque, Tomas also won the 2016 Intalent Competition by MIT Technology Review and the Inter American Development Bank in 2016, as well as entering the NYU Summer Accelerator in Summer’17. His work explores the intersection of music, entrepreneurship and technology.
He published his first book on Amazon “How To Land A Job In The Music Industry”
Tomas has also delivered talks at SXSW, Harvard University, Music Biz, LakeFX, Colombia 4.0, and started an entrepreneurship program for international students at his alma mater, The New School University in New York.
