Le`alani is a Native Hawaiian and Colorado enthusiast dedicated to collaborative, participatory public processes. Through her service with Partnerships for Parks and the National Park Service, Le`alani has provided planning & training support to urban & rural communities since 2008, helping them to work with government to plan & construct public parks, trails, and greenways. At present she manages the People Make Parks program and trains volunteer park stewards to lead community visioning initiatives in New York City parks. She received her Master of Urban and Regional Planning and Bachelor of Environmental Design from the University of Colorado.
