From Santa Monica, CA, Emma is completing her senior year in the Bachelor’s Program for Adult and Transfer Students, Schools for Public Engagement, The New School. She is concentrating on food studies and creative writing. Emma has worked with The New School as an orientation leader and as a member of several student advisory committees, and is formerly a co-leader of the Sex-E Collective, a sex positive sex education group. She joined the Humanities Action Lab (HAL) in January 2015, working as an event coordinator, social media coordinator, and editor of the HAL blog. Currently, Emma is the Manager of the Digital Humanities Initiative, assisting with curricular development, event planning and web.
