Writing History with the LBGT Community

 

 

OutHistory is digital humanities project created for the discovery, creation and curation of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) history. The OutHistory blog, regularly published exhibitions, timelines, biographies and birthday notices everyone interested in the history of sexuality and sexual communities has a forum to share research, primary documents, interviews and images. Founded in 2005, it is directed and edited by Jonathan Ned Katz, author of the groundbreaking Gay American History (1976), John D’Emilio and Claire Potter, in collaboration with Assistant Editor Chris Howard-Woods.
